The music

The Soul Symphonics' music is composed by Michael Millfield and is inspired by Prince, Quincy Jones, Joe Zawinul and Gino Vannelli among others. In this innovative constellation, classical music therefore merges with jazz, gospel, R&B and funk in a completely new expression that should pique the curiosity of young and old alike.

The lyrics in the works should convey afterthought and are therefore about empathy and human values. Messages that are more relevant than ever and that we hope adults and children will reflect on and take with them into their everyday life.

The originator

Throughout his 28 years as a professional trumpeter, Michael Millfield's passion for arranging, composing, recording, touring and performing has gradually grown stronger. His passion has now resulted in this ambitious project, which he is the originator of - both musically and conceptually.

Michael plays the first trumpet on the Danish Entertainment Orchestra's rhythmic productions and has also played with several big (international) names, participated in countless TV shows and on a true tidal wave of albums - including his own. See more references here  and hear Michael talk about The Soul Symphonics below.
